Cost
For a Private Pilot License the cost is $68 per hour in a C-152 plus $27 per hour for the instructor.

Avg time is 20-30 hours of solo flight and 30-40 hours of Dual flight.

In addition, you will need to purchase a ground school kit offered by many pilot shops, including Dallas Bay Skypark. These average any where from $190 - $300.
Requirements
You must be a legal US resident

17 years of age (you can start taking lessons as early as 15)

Able to speak, read, and understand English language

Hold a Class III Medical certificate (required before your first solo).
Getting Started
Starting your flying lessons is easy. Stop by the airport and meet with one of the instructors, resident pilots, current students or one of the owners. They will be more than happy to sit down with you and explain everything that you will encounter in you training at Dallas Bay Skypark. The instructors will set you up with an introductory flight that will get you familiar with the aricraft and it's systems.
